LED Strip Fitting HELP!!!

Hi Guys,

I recently bought the R8 Style LED strip for my K12 and want to hook it up to the side light beams, where abouts can i hook this up to achieve it, if anyone has a guide how to do it that would be great fwn

I bought a long multicolor RGB 12v led strip light off ebay for $65.00 from Hong Kong and just recieved them today. When installing them in my car (after getting all the proper attachments) i left them on so i could see where i was putting led strip 12v them because it was dark. When i went to pull some more strip off the reel the blue wire fell off of the solder joint on the led and connected with the black wire(hot) and caused the whole 15 ft of expensive leds to short circuit! Please tell me is there anyway to get these waterproof led strip light fixed or is the led strip completely useless? Please i need help i dont want to be out 70 bucks!
