Late face lift shims???

After fitting the 1.3 fastroad cams that i just bought from Ollie it appears that the valve clearances were ranging from .75 to .85mm, didnt consider it a problem just measure up and get correct replacements from nissan easy........
although it apears i have the same style of shims as the cga engine.

A solid bucket shim with no numbers top or bottom, can i get replacements for these if so i take ill have to measure up with a micrometre??? Please help!

did you look inside the bucket for a number? if its not in there then you will have to micrometre to measure them

Nope no number, will double check with a mirometre once im sure i can get replacements.

Forgot to add its the 1.0 facelift.......my bad.

hey Wrenchable. do you know what size of shims ya need cos a got 2 spare sets of shims from when i rebuilt me engine couple months ago.

one set is the original shims from me engine which were between 2-3mm thick

i brought a new eng head off James in here but the shims he included were way too thick for my cams. they're bout 3.5mm'ish

so i had to order a new set from nissan to get the clearances right. twas £5 each shim.
