KYB, Monroe or Randoms? (shocks)

Looking at new shocks for the K11... and have a few choices (all prices without springs... :s but for a pair):

Front:
Monroe: £120
KYB: £100
Sachs: £100
GH: £50

Rear:
Bilsten: £40
KYB: £40
Monroe: £100

I've never heard of GH... does anyone have any experience? I'm tempted to fit the KYB's to the front and rear... advice?

It would be good to hear from the grass/gravel rally guys...

KYBs will do you fine. Providing they're their gas ones
Their inserts can be found in coilovers which is a good sign ;)

Thanks! The front KYBs are gas, the rear aren't... the gas KYB rear are another £100... This is turning out to be an expensive endeavor!

i think the only downside of the monroe dampers is they're standard height, ie. they dont have shortened damping rods, so max lows works out about 45-50mm i think while still seating the spring properly.

Considering I'm hoping to raise the car with diesel springs on the front; I really don't want shortened rods :p

Haven't figured out how to raise the rear a little bit yet...

In an ideal world slightly longer trailing arms, extended panhard rod
If it was coilovers mk2 golf rears are longer
