Knocking sound from front drivers side

Hi all.

When accelerating, there is a knocking sound from the front driver's side, near the wheel. A quick look at the wheel and the surroundings, and it all seems ok?

As I accelerate, the knocking gets faster with it.

Is this a sign of CV boot? I've also read that people have a problem with sagging doors making a knocking sound.

I suspect it's a CV, but any advice is appreciated.

CVs generally knock worse whilst turning towards that side and under acceleration, when going straight they are often quieter.

Got under the car, and found out my wheel bolts were simply loose, and the sound was my wheel falling off! Makes me look like an idiot.
