The engines are the same, aren't they? The CR engine, which was fitted the K12 Micra in March 2002, was then fitted to the Z11 Cube in October 2002, if I'm not mistaken. What year is the car that you're planning to use the engine from?

The 160SR or Sport SR K12 is fitted with an HR series engine.

rip it all out! and re loom with a proper nissan engine thats what mine is getting as soon as money allows. Who needs power steering i can sort that out later

The old cube was fitted with the old cg motor mate in fact I believe the most powerful cg think it had over 100bhp in the 1300cc standard

The 2002 - 2005 cube is fitted with the CR14DE engine (Same as the 1.4 K12) mated to an auto box. (Not sure if this is the same box as the automatic K12.)

I'd be tempted to do a 160SR transplant if the engine needed swapping.
