Got a micra with an annoying fault, if the car is started and driven straight away the check light comes on and the code P0705 is displayed if the code is deleted while the engine is running you can drive unlimited miles until you stop the engine and start again.
Sometimes if you start the engine leave to idle for five mins and drive the light will not iluminate.
The code comes back as a pending code when driving but will only bring on ems light when starting from stopped shortly after engine has been started.
Live data shows the PNP switch workinh correctly as the switch is on in Park and neutral and off in all other gears.
Does anyone else have experience of a fault such as this or have any knowledge of how to test or remedy this problem cheers
