K11

Looked at a k11 today, 12 months mot 40k on the clock and 2 previous owners, the mot had an advisory for corroded rear axle, is this something to be concerned with? It looked ok to me but I’m not a mechanic. Should I go ahead with the sale?

Possibly they go under the rear coils top and bottom side and were the axle swoops up to the hub the bottom half's go
Or it could be a picky not tester, also what's the rest of the car like, sills crossmember, rear vents , drivers side inner wheel arch (engine bay)

Quote; “advisory for corroded rear axle” is terminal beyond economic repair possibly for next MOT?

Use it to bid the price down by half for a car on its last MOT or walk away. Plenty more cars around to take your pick of.
