Hi I have a 2001 micra 1.0s which has 14" steel wheels at present. I recently have seen a set of 13" alloys in great condition with tyres which have come of a N reg micra. Will these fit on mine if I purchased them. Also if they do and I fit them will the speedo still read correctly. Thanx

I'd imagine it would depend on the size tyres you fit. The rotational speed of the wheel (so what the speedo would read out) is worked out by the distance from the centre of the wheel to the road contact surface, so the edge of they tyre. If you fit the right size tyres you'll be fine, but if you go for smaller tyres, then the wheels will spin slightly faster, resulting in the speedo reading a higher speed than you're actually going.

I had standard 155/70/13s on my micra ive now got 175/50/15s on and the speedo reads about the same checked with gprs...
