K11 Speakers

I have a 1995 Micra LX and i'm looking to replace the speakers as one of them is completely dead (no sound comes out at all) and the other is really poor quality. I was just wondering how I remove them, how difficult it is to remove them and what size speakers come as standard? I'm assuming it's around 17mm but i'm not sure.

Buy a Haynes and read how to remove the door cards, once off itshould be easy - however u may need to cut the Nissan Connections and add spade connectors so it will take ur new speakers/

Also you should be ok with 17cm speaker (thats what i have).

Not a problem - may i recommend you check out www.mightymicra.co.uk. it has a fair few guides that you may find of use. but i'd still recommend buying a haynes - only £10 - night out for a student!

I saw it in your sig after the headlight post so I had a quick look through and stuck it in my favourites. It has some great guides on there. I'm going to spend my holidays modifying my car, learning how to keep it in good condition by myself and basically making it a more pleasant thing to drive hence the reason i've joined here.

Maximum mounting depth is about 55mm, so watch out with some of the more powerful speakers!
