K11 Digital Odometer Backlight

Should the Digital Odo in my 98 K11 have a backlight?

All the other dials on the dash are lit fine but the odo is unlit.

Is there a fuse for it?

Yes it should be lit, it'll be the bulb it's easy to get at.

Great! I've got the Haynes (came with the car!) so I'll give it a go over the weekend. Thanks to both for the replies.
