k11 dashboard clock not keeping time!

Hi there,
The little clock below the temperature guage on my dash wont keep the right time, I set it to the right time on a few occasions, and by the next day it is up to an hour (or more) slow! I recently had to replace a couple of the little bulbs in the dash and had a look to see if it ran off a seperate battery (a watch battery etc.) and found nothing. Im confused what could be causing this??

Had the same problem, and i solved it buy buying another K11 gauges, and just replacing the old clock part from the new one. I guess your probably having component failure, and the clock auto resets every time starting from 1:00. Here i RARed some pics for you to see how to open the gauges and check the internal parts. You'll see a failed capacitor on picture 18122008670 and it belongs on the lower left side of the greenboard, picture 18122008665. Check those parts, see if they need rejointing. I just simply changed that clock part on the gauge.
