either clear or go for Tinting them again but in blue You can get em and its still legal and will blend into the colour of the car. I thought about red for mine but i saw them on another red micra and thought they didnt look right so i went black tint looks nice though mate

very true 59bhp, crome paint is rarther cheap and good effect....BUT if you want the feel of Real crome metal get the handles

is it hard to get paint exactly the same colour as the car (for colour coding?) and if so, where from? :S

B&Q for me :-D depends what colour your car is i sopose

i say go nissan 4 the paint its like £6 per can(150ml) n they can properly match the actual colour of your car just spray it on n then laquer it but i dont recommend using the halfords cheap £5 like 500ml laquer tho but one paint can should be enough for just handles as one can did just under half a spoiler(the long supers one) for me

or get your paint code from your vin plate then ring up an automotive paint place theres loads about. my paint is ridiculously expensive though. a 10 quid for a can its coz its pearlescent

friday afternoon lol they probly too busy talking about going out tonight

just ask for chrome door handles for the k11,they do them dont worry,just a useless sales man you got

ill be getting mine soon....when i asked my sales guy he knew what i meant BUT on thier parts system its hard to find

i had the problem with them not finding it first time either he came out n said they didnt do them but when i said i know someone who got them from their nissan he goes wait *5mins later* oh yeh actually yeh we do them

just to say i had problems getting one handle off the screw thing that is joined inside the plastic handle didnt twist off properly ie its like a hex shape so when u twist the nut the head of the bolt it hits plastic then nut comes off but the plastic is so crap the hex head rounds off the plastic so doesnt come off i ended up melting my handles off lol then got pliers n ripped the bolt to pieces lol

the grey corner things on bumper im planning to get chrome ive seen some fronts but dunno bout the back if they same or not n i havent had time to check not got them yet as i dont want just chrome front but not back ones
ps guess the china blue *cough* purple isnt too bad then lol (i had choice of the purple or red on the day i got car but red is so fricking common on a micra)

Had a look on mine and the fronts are the same as the back.They are sided though so you will need 2 lefts + 2 right. Why not go the whole hog and get the chrome insert for above the rear no. plate.

Can't do metallics at home though. Unless you can do it in the rihgt conditions, as it needs to be done in a special oven to bring the metallic flakes to the surface

thanks for info rj007 wasnt sure n kept forgetting to check them when i go out to car but i did i know bout the left n right but i was also wanting a chrome plate thingy already what i had as an idea in head was the ugly grey bits to chrome them out by going to some specialist paint guy or something but that all costs money so it can all wait lol

Chrome Effect + Accessories.

I've just found an old accessories book for the k11. If anyone needs to know the part numbers for the "chrome" door handles,bumper inserts or anything else its all in here. Just let me know. I'm selling the car now and was going to give the new keeper this book so you'll have to be quick!
