K10 TInted rear lights and the law...

I have tinted the my indicators and reverse light slightly red to make them look more modern. I have left all the other lights alone. Is it a problem that my rear indicators and reverse lights are quite reddish? Thanks all.

i'd say yes, the lights have to be a very defined colour, i imagine a slight tint would be let off my alot of police, but a strict one would probably pull you, and an mot'er could even say there is no reverse light as it has to be white and not slightly red

I tinted the rear clusters on my first k10, never got in trouble when I was pulled over, but it did fail the MOT on the indicators being tinted. As Amy said it doesnt matter about the reverse lights. You can remove the tint spray (at least the one I used) very easily using nail varnish remover pads, so you could always just keep some of those in the glove box :).
