k10 hot starting problem

hi there, ive owned my k10 for the last 8 years now. its a k10 1.0l automatic SGL. It is perfect in everyway apart from once the engine is warm and you leave it for 10 mins or so, it takes a hell of a long time to start. it turns over about 15 times before firing and is sometimes misses for a couple of seconds. it seems to prefer cold starting. on the other hand once the engine is warm and you only leave it for say 30 seconds to a minute, it will start instantly only turning over twice before firing. other than that its fine, it starts first time everytime even on frosty mornings and its a joy to drive, never misses a beat. has anyone got any ideas what the problem is, if it is a problem because like i said otherwise its perfect.

I allways thought this was just a carb'd car problem. I usually have some trouble starting my K10 hot. My mates MK2 fez does it too!
It usually helps to open the throttle fully when starting hot, but you probably knew that already hahah :)
