Jacking points

I have never worked out where the jacking points are on my 98 Micra, the manual says under the sills and with a little diagram but when I check the car it doesn’t look strong enough to hold anything. Where exactly are the jacking points and best place for axles stands? Pictures would be great

i jack on my front sills no probs bob (never the rears tho)

i jack up from the rear wishbone mount and support on the chassis rail

and jack & support the rear axle beam

Thanks for that I will jack up from the rear wishbone mount and support on the chassis rail, its the fronts I have always had problems with. Cheers mate.

I use the mount thing (not sure what its propper name is) below the motor as haynes recomends to jack the front, the rest I do the same as asdame

i'd advise against jacking up from the middle of the crossmember, its quite weak (especially if rusted) and prone to buckling up which will affect position of the bonnet catch, radiator, engine mount

I will jack where your arrow is asdame under the wishbone mount and support it under the chassis rail with my axle stands, where is where I normally jack it under the chassis rail.
