Is this really a Micra Sport?

Saw this 1.4l Micra Sport:

It's got the sport badging and the CD changer, but look at the alloys! I think they're smaller than the ones most sport version and the 160 SR has right? (Maybe 15" on these vs 17" on the 'proper' sports?)

Also, if you look at the pedals, they're normal rubber tops, not the metal style ones.

Initially I thought it was because it's an older model but I've seen 05 plate (thi is 06) Micra sport's that have the sportier alloys and pedals.

Can anyone shed some light on the whole situation?

Cheers :)

Could tell you easily if you had a number plate :D otherwise I don't know my K12's enough sorry
good luck (Y)

It's down as a sport on docs and websites like mycarcheck.

But I'm trying to work out why it doesn't come with the graphite coloured alloys or the metal pedals.

Only thing I can think of is that the previous owner(s) sold/kept the sports alloys and pedals when they were selling the car :/

Why would you do such a thing?! :suspect:

ETA - had a look at the wheel size when I test drove the car and they were 15". As far as I know, the sports comes with 16" wheels, right? The tyres on these wheels aren't really low profile either whereas the proper sports ones are.

i dont know why someone would do that but if you are planning on buying the car shouldnt be too much hassle to make it stock again :D
good luck (Y)

that is a sport matey the sport + is the one that comes with the metal pedals and the dark 16" wheels most 2006 model sports were upgraded to sport + for free though shouldn`t be too hard to find a sport + that has the parts you want :)
