Intermittent idle

Hi guys,

I was just wondering if any of you knew what the problem I might have with an intermittent idle, the car will be fine for like 5 months then all of a sudden it wont idle, the engine will stall, you can start it again and as long as you keep the revs up it will run and it will do this for awhile. Then when you drive it a little while longer and keep the revs up it comes fine and idles by itself. Could it be fuel, ecu, airflow meter?

Chances are you need a new throttle body, you could try resoldering the PCB located inside the box on the side. You will need to cut the silicone to get to it.

There is a guide on this site somewhere to do it.
