Interior rust and mould

I have recently bought a k12 and discovered it had a water leak, think I have that sorted (joint behind a taillight) but have rust in the seat frames and mould in the car so it’s must have been going on a while. I’ve removed boot liner dried it all out and treated all areas I could see with upholstery mould killer but I’m more worried about the rust inside the rear seat frames and within the base of the drivers seat (not pictured for that but can add one). Is this just surface or do I need to go about removing the trim and padding (not easy I am a novice) or can it be left.

I can’t return the car since it’s a really long trip for me but more so I’ve done some other things on it, spray painting on outside and a mirror repair due to a dozy neighbour.

Images show some of it, 2nd one along shows where i have sanded some off and found it be quit surface deep (but of course havnt taken all the seat components off)

Fix the leaks; kill all the mould, vacuum the interior & the DIY job is good to go. The seat frames surface rust does not matter.

The alternative is to get the supplying dealer to collect it & sort it out including the leaks according to his legal responsibilities under UK consumer rights protection laws.

Thank you thats a relief. I can deal with a bit of scrubbing and cleaning but glad i can ignore the surface rust.
