Interior Dome Bulb

i need help changing the interior bulb.

i think the fitting is a festoon one.

i took the housing off the dome, unscrewed something and i saw the bulb. sincerely i can't figure out how to remove the bulb and to insert a new one.

it would have been much better if the plastic cover could be removed. if this is possible, please advise cuz i can't find a way to. from this angle, it seems to be easier to remove the plastic cover and then change the bulb.
