Insurance Discounts!.....

Right, i went to get a quote from my current insurer on the k10 super to see where it stands, with the k&n and the 15's declaired.

Im with churchill atm and didnt want to pay all the stupid cancellation fees so gave them a ring, well dad did as its under his name.

with k&n = £200 more a year.
with 15" alloys = NO COVER.

But they did say if i put the standard filter and wheels on they would cover it for the same as im paying now. Which kinda defeats the point of me buying the super.

Anyway, the main reason im on here now typing this out is to kinda complain. From what i can see, there is only one insurance company on here that full paying members can benefit from regarding discounts, and thats sky insurance. But it says their minimum age is 19 years. This is no good to me and a fair few other under 19s on here so im just thinking its abit unfair on us under 19 full paying members!

Any admin assistance here would be good!


And what happened to adrian flux in the end? Thought we had them on here for discounts?

Adrian Flux are still offering the discount as well as Sky and I believe Flux will insure under 19's.

I can't keep adding insurance companies to the MSC offering discounts as this will not go down well with companies already with us offering discounts due to obvious reasons.

I think 2 companies offering discounts is enough on insurance and the two we have are specialised in modification insurance, I can however understand it's a pain with you not being able to use Sky.

There are approx 600 Insurance companies that sell car insurance in Britain...take your pick... but before you do, some of these companies are owned by other companies which makes getting a real discount an art in itself....
