I have recently done a 1.6 ga16de conversion into my micra supers.
Now, i have noticed that there are two types of manifold avaliable to me, the standard UK spec one, and the import one.
Since you aussies get the import style ones, would you be nice enough to check for me...?

Standard UK spec ^^
Import Spec inlet manifold.\/

Since the throttlebody sits at the end it will tidy up my enginebay, however i am unsure if this will give me gains or losses performance wise...?
Can anyone offer help regarding this?
I have weighed the UK spec one and it is very light, would there be a possibility of you guys being able to post one to the uk, that is if its cheap enough...?

thanks.

I know for a fact our GA16DE's are different to the UK spec GA16DE. Ours have VTC on the intake cam. An oil pressure operated variable timing control system. Our GA is also tuned more for torque than peak power (the VTC actually retards power over 5000rpm).

As you can also see our intake manifold has longer runners. Plus our airflow meter is located at the airbox which is seperate from the throttlebody (unlike your GA setup which is similar to the CG).

The bolt pattern might be the same but I think you would notice bugger all difference between the two. Infact you'll probably get better gains just porting and de-burring (or even enlarging) your standard manifold.

Mabye talk to the americans on the nissan boards over there to see if they know which manifold design is superior?

Goodluck mate!
