Hello all. Have just joined the club. I have a problem, and would be grateful for some advice. Had the Micra about 4 months. It's a K11 1.3 1999 model Inspiration, mileage 60k. Have changed spark plugs, fuel filter, air filter, new oil and filter change. Bought it on Ebay. Have just discovered there is fuse missing from fuse box ( the one in the engine compartment). Haynes has it as fuse FA, 10 amp which supplies power to the injection unit. Mpg is about 27 to gallon. With no power to it, I guess the whole management system must have been knocked out!! About 3 weeks ago the engine idle speed increased way too much. I adjusted the idle screw on the side of the unit. This slowed the idle a bit, but it wont now tick over until it's warmed up. Then just when it gets up to temperature, the idle goes up just a little too high. So whether I might have knackered anything (maybe the cat?) I don't know. I have just put a 10 amp fuse in and it does run. The next day or so I'll give it a bit of a thrashing to try and get any crap out of the system, but if the idle speed problem is still there than I'm stumped. Forgot to mention there is nothing wrong with the performance, as it goes like stick. Please let me have your thoughts.
