Indicator double speed?

I've just had my headlights apart to spray the inside bit (a hair raising and fairly stressful experience!), put everything back together and my left indicator is flashing at double speed, almost strobe-like! Is there something obvious I've done wrong/broken?

Check the other bulbs on the left hand side of the car. One of them might be out

flashes like that if a indicator bulb is at fault if memory serves me correct...it might not be connected properly or somthing.
