I need some clarification on carbs.

I have an 85 1.0 automatic Micra. The carb seems to be shot on it. I seem to be having quite a time finding a replacement. These cars aren't quite as plentiful in Canada.

I am wondering how specific I need to be finding a replacement. I got one at a wreckers which I thought was out of the same year but it seems fairly different. Alot of the lines don't match up and the electric connectors are different. Where there numerous carbs on 85's? Sounds like automatics and manuals are different right?

The tag on mine reads. I have pics but can't seem to get them on.

So what are the options for other carbs. I have heard about the weber but haven't had any luck finding one in Canada.
I have also seen post talking about Sunny carbs. Would a carb off of a 85 Sunny fit? I think the Sentra is the same as a Sunny here in Canada.

Anyone have spares lying around they would be willing to part with?

Your carburettor should be a Hitachi DCZ 306-82A which has a 'Dashpot' device. The Dashpot prevents stalling in certain situations.

Get another one of these Carburettors and just swop the Dashpot over if at all possible :)

Sunny Carbs will fit but not too sure about fitting to the Automatic Models
