How to replace brake button on k11

Hello,

The brake lights on my k11 are stuck on! I looked underneath the dash and there is nothing pushing the brake light button to turn the brake lights off.

Can someone please tell me how to replace brake light button on Micra K11

well its located behind the brake pedal...if it's non existent, try finding the wires and retro fit one. repco, burson, autobarn all have them switches, brand is Narva.

I had the same problem.. I used a nut and bolt.. all you need to do is set the distance correctly so it depresses the button without breaking it.

Thanks peoples. The bold make perfect sense. I read the technical forums as hotfunk67 suggested and I too had the plastic laying on the drivers floor. Will hook the bolt up on the weekend and should be good to go

You might want to disconnect your battery overnight because the brake lights will drain it!

Brake lights are working again the nut and bolt did the trick!
