how do you lower a 2010 ki2 dci

The normal sping setup is not the same on a diesel, you carnt just buy 4 springs an bang them on , The back has no spings in the normal place only a strut, the front is the same as a petrol . The rear springs are mounted at the back of the car. My 17 inch wolfrace look swamped by wheel arch gap. but the set up with the suspension dont look cool to mess with an expencive. I asked a few place,s on the net about lowering an the spring maker,s say they dont do a 2010 diesel.

diesel with 17inch wheels not lowered

http://i817.photobucket.com/albums/zz97/manic666/Image0394-1.jpg http://i817.photobucket.com/albums/zz97/manic666/Image0395.jpg it depends on what angle you look , sometimes it looks high another cool. When i have done a few miles as the car is pre reg with no miles just bought , i will fit a power box ecu converter, takeing it from 86 bhp to 110bhp , it handles cool with the wheels , an if the lowering is a prob or to much money, i will have to get use to the way it looks at the wrong angle.

I'm glad you've loaded that picture it looks like exactly the same setup as my 2006 petrol k12 you just remove the one bolt on the bottom of the strut jack up the rear axel the spring fairly easily pops out and then you just pop the new one in refit one bolt tourque it up refit wheel an the jobs done the fronts are a shock off job though :-(

Agree with Pete on this one. If you look at K12 lowering spring sets, the rear ones look just like yours :).

I have scoured the internet an still no joy on lowering spring,s for my 2010 micra dci , i could understand if it was the new model. But everyone comes back not for this model. The car looks the same set up as the standard k12 ,but they all say no. Anyone any idea where i can get some
