The boot no longer opens. It began sometimes not opening manually about 2months ago and got worse. Now it hardly ever opens but will now and then spontaneously open. I took the padding off to expose the wiring and was able to close and open the lock by separating the connector then joining it again. But I am not sure if the wire from the connector is faulty where it joins the boot catch or just the connector. Any ideas would be appreciated.
