Hesitation - AFM or TB Resoldering?

About 3 or so weeks ago after getting up to speed from a set of lights the engine hesitated for a split second, then did it again about 30 seconds later.

Last night after a slightly spirited drive it did it again once. It's now done it 3 times in the last 24 hours. Doesn't seem to be specifically linked to any particular action. Seems rather random. I'm rather concerned and after initially happened the first time, Yom reckoned it was the ye olde AFM issue.

I guess a resoldering of the TB couldn't hurt, but what's it most likely going to be?

afm/tb issue. same thing different name. pop the metal cover off the electronics for the afm and resolder all visible points.

Oh. Thought issue with the afm was the hot wire sensor thing itself rather than the electronics. Easy fix then... hopefully

Yeh the hotwires can and do wear out eventually.

It wont have the same effects you're talking of though. That will be a gradual loss in power.
