Hi All, I tried to reline my driver door via information off the net, There a youtube clip showing 3 young guys realining the drivers door by simply removing the outer wing and then loosing the hinge bolts. Which I did all of that except the outer wing on the 2002 k11 are more secure than the the earlier models and when retighting the bottom hinge I snap off on a bolt head by accident by tighting it to much. Is the car door safe to use whilst 3 bolts are holding the door in place and how do I remove the bolt thread whilst the door still attached to the car?
I do realise that it may be easier to remove the door first, but as they heavy and I'm on my own I would prefer to keep the dr in place. One other thing how many bolts / self tappers are in the bumper holding it on to the front of the car, as mine appears to be only 2 either side of the outer wings?
