help prob changin springs

the problem i am having is once i have taken the shock out of the car and fitted spring compressors i need to know what tool to use to get the top nut off the shock plz help

just use the correct size spanner that will sit in around the nut, then grip the small thin tip in the centre with a wrench and move in opposite direction... on or off...

Kristian or Goldstar did a guide with pictures and a good technique, basically betwwen the knees on the ground...

ahh was gonna say if it was a k10 where the shocknut sits in a cup u need one of these a swan neck spanner

id recomend lossening that nut whilst the shock is fitted to the car mate, if you remove it whilst on the car you can remove the spring without using the spring compressor infaact it is possiable to lower a k10 and k11 without ever using the spring compressor i have done it many times
