Help please?

Hi guys, went out this morning to find my work van has been broken into. £150 which was out of sight gone along with most of my cards. My only bank card i use and diesel card was left. Also the £3 odd that was on show was taken and i suspect thats why theyve broke in. NOW ive thought to myself the vans alarmed so i decided to check that it worked and it doesnt! My work said they cant re-imburse me should i just accept this

Personal Items left out of sight might well be covered on your household insurance. I doubt that they will pay out for cash though.

I think from an employer point of view you will just have to accept it .... as said maybe check household insurance ?

Aye i suppose, house insurance comes with an excess which means ill loss out anyway!
