ok i have searched the forums but not luck,
i know most people on this forum are into lowering thier cars, but...
i tow my jetski behind my car and have my wakeboards on the roof, with the sub tow bar and people its a lot of weight,
i dont want to raise the car other wise i would have bought a vitara but can you buy heavy duty springs which dont have so much give?
any help would be great
cheers

what you can get is some bumpstops- AND/OR some spring collars..

These are called different names but basically they attach to your springs and reduce the Compression that it has. They 'sit' between some of the coils making them unable to compress..

In doing this is reduces how low the rear of your car will go.. These are easily put on and removed..

Motorworld/Halfords type places sell these..

Most will Be advertised as useful for caravan/heavy load towing..

I have some original Micra challenge rear springs which are a bit stiffer and should keep the ride height the same if you retain the rubber insulators on the top and bottom of the springs. These are new £25.00 you could try them and if they were no good send then back and I would refund you the money. drop me an email [email protected] or ring me 01865 748000
