Heater replacement thread anywhere?.

I can't handle no heater in my Micra at my age , I need to replace my heater matrix in my '94 basic model.
I have been told I need to remove the dash to do this. I'm not worried about it being a complex or long winded job, but don't want to make life difficult for myself either by going about it the wrong way.
Is there a thread or sticky somewhere that goes into detail on how to go about it?.
I've had a look but can't find anything. If somebody can point me in the right direction or run through what I need to do you will have my undying gratitude.

first thing woja why dont it work,,,,,,, hot/cold cable came off ? mild heat = head gasket ?
why why why ? did it happen to me ? and not the other guy.

The matrix is leaking, that's why I need to replace it.
