heater icon panel

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has got there heater icon card and changed it to a different colour??

I can seem to get the thing out...is it stuck down or something....

i want to change it to a white background with black icons....then a blue LED behind to light it up....same a the dials....

I hate the green glow of it grr .....lol

any pics would be great!!

Change the bulb for a LED, but something ultra bright to get through the green filter. You cant change the existing green card thing but stick a new one over the top.

My blue LED went straight through the green filter. They are superbright LED's though.

mine were super bright but i still had a green glow.....
im sure i saw something like this on here but i can't find it

Ed's LED's light up a whole room. Send him a PM and see if he can sort you out

is that the led in the right holder, or is it need of soldering in?

Soldering. I've got them on my dials and they're brilliant

are they 12v or will i have to put a resistor in there as well?

i guess this should be too hard ill solder it straight in...ill pm ed

You may need resistors but don't quote me on that. Ed did all the fitting for me!
