Headlight dashboard dipped beam indicator + warning buzzer?

I don't have an Owners manual for my 2003 SE Automatic - is there supposed to be an indicator light in the instrument console that shows that your lights are on? There is a main beam indicator but no dipped.

There doesn't seem to be a warning buzzer to let you know you've left your lights on either.
Is there supposed to be a buzzer and where is it?

No,there is no indicator on the mk1 clusters for the lights being on. There is also no warning buzzer,as if the lights are left on,the driver door being opened with engine off and lights on,auto shuts the lights off.
