Guys need some info from you locals

Currently am in Ilford on a holiday, today we'll be buying a MMT yaris which we'll be driving back overland to Malta.

It needs an AC recharge, where can I get a decent service and in short notice? and are there still in existence, gas stations where I can change the car's oil myself?

You're highly unlikely to find a place that will do it at short notice, but halfords auto centres and kwik fits are a good bet for ac, although they're likely busy with this weather. Even less likely to find a place that will let you do your own oil.

National Autocentre do very cheap oil changes if you can't find anywhere to do the oil yourself - http://www.national.co.uk/oil-vehicle-search.aspx
