Grinding/Clicking Noise Front O/S Wheel

Hi,

we have a 94 1.0 K11. We have noticed that when you turn a tight corner or suddenly get the bite we get a clunk/crunch/grind coming from the front passenger side wheel.

I am thinking it could be a drive shaft or a wheel bearing? Has anyone come across this before. Does my diagnosis sound right?

How hard is it to fix the problem and are any special tools needed?

it,ll be the outer C/V, mine clicked for over 1 yr before i got round to changing it :wasntme:
(some pics of changing it in my blog iirc)

Also what size socket is needed for the hub/CV also to change the bearings is it an easy job?

yeh, its the 19 spline one (they wont fit a post 98 tho fwn)
the hubnut is 30 or 32 iirc (depending if its a castlenut or nyloc)
and front bearings are a mission
