well i fitted the springs that i got off snoopy..... huge change in ride hey.... its great much stiffer and much lower, i will post before and after shots.... and the short shifter fully makes a huge difference.... it is now a completely different car to drive.

now to the down side i got a noise in the gear box now, so i think it may be time to upgrade to the pulsar box... it so annoying. as soon as u get money save something happens hey. such is life.

Its more likely to be the CV's if it only became apparent after the ride height change.

Check to make sure the short shift isnt touching the exhaust. This includes the linkages aswell. I had to alter the exhaust slightly to clear it on my car. It used to sound like a g/box noise when it rattled the linkage.

Remember that I increase the the length of the bottom of the shifter aswell as shortening the top.

yeah the shortshifter/micra gearshift in general is prone to rattles.

thanks for the advice... works out the cv was stuffed.... cant wait to get it back in and drive it to see if the whine is still there...
