turbo march-rolling shell WROTE:

"emanages are ****in great. i love em. i've heard of stories where the ignition side of things can be a bit b/s but your not running anything hardcore so yeh.. the emanage has heaps of tuning points, atleast double or tripple then a ems and a squillion more then a micro****. d1, yeh, great workmanship here.. dunno who told you about budgets thou lol."

..what EMS are you talking about? You can't discredit a whole company based on one of their low-end products. I know nothing of the Microtech stuff but that's still a pretty broad statement. Resolution is one thing, but as you know there's more to ECUs than just resolution.

From what I understood it, the Emanage blue has separate 16x16 maps for airflow adjustment, injector duty cycle and ignition timing. Not sure about the ultimate though. It depends which EMS you're comparing it to - the 4424 (stinger) is in the same sort of league, but is still a full standalone ECU despite it having a res of 26x11 (RPM x Load sites). If you're going to compare it to the EMS motorsport series then it's something else altogether. I'm not going to pretend I know much about tuning, just trying to understand what you're comparing it to

I'm not wanting to discredit the E-manage as it's probably a fine choice for low-end boosting as has been proven in the past, but I don't see why you'd pick an Emanage over a stinger if you had the funds and the means to do so.

*shrug* either that or you're just baiting.. haha.

---dens
