Gearbox Help!!!

Hi guys, how easy is it to change the gearbox oil, where do i fill the oil from on the gearbox and how would i know its full (enough), few days back i done my CV joints both sides and the passenger, by accidently i pulled the whole shaft out whilst knocking the old cv joint out holding the shaft and oil poured out.. i need to replace it, basically would lke to empty and refill with fresh oil...

there,s a square plug at the bottom J, and you have to refill our pre98 g/boxes through the speedo drive

Hi frank, thanks for your reply back, how would i know the gearbox has enough oil and also how much oil does the nissan gearbox take, haynes dont seem to give this info...

2.8 to 3.0 litres

the bigger g/boxes take 3L, J, ours are probably a bit less, and you fill it level to the plastic cog (in the speedo hole)

3 liters of oil in the gearbox? are you lot serious or having a joke? its an M reg 1.0L bloody hell its .5 liters less than my bmw alpina engine.. and thats a 6 cylinder.
