gear selection problem k11

Hi
Has anybody had this problem with their 1.0 k11 gearbox ? :doh:

There now seems no positive stop in third gear ie the lever is now sprung
loaded from first to fifth, making gear changing a bit like guesswork. there is
nothing wrong with the linkgage/spring it seems to be an internal fault.
no nasty noises etc, :suspect:

can anybody shed any light on this problem ?

it's the gear lever return spring under the car above the heat shield for the middle cat. simply replace the spring or modify your broken one.

ah yes the common k11 fault very annoying but a simple fault to fix, just remove your heat sheild near your centre cat and that will give you acces to the spring so u can replace or as silver_si said reshape.
