Gear box difference

I'm going to look at a 5 speed k10 box is there any thing I need to look at to make sure it's a 5speed

So if it's a 4 speed it only has 5 an a 5speed has 6 positions

aye, the reverse fork will only shift in 1 plane on a 4 speed iirc

So once it moves 6 times its all good.. didn't no if there was a code on it or not ha... ya no of anyone on here who took an auto box out an manual box in..

It's a turbo engine was told it was from a march turbo but I don't think it was as the blocks for the clocks are diffent
