it is on my car i found out why the battery was draining it was to do with the cd player i dont know why it was draining it just was i carnt take it back it only had a one year warrenty on it i had the player for two years now

Are you definitely sure it is, have you tried another instead?

do you know why or how? just wondering... because my apline has an on and off button... i always turn it off before removing the face... but it is still connected for memory etc.

i have no idea why it is doing it i turn it off every night and it is draining the face comes off and i leave the face on but still draines the battery

but you did connect the correct wires in the right places?

theres no chance you mixed up the constant +12v with the remote wire?

Then it must be faulty. I've heard of batteries draining when wires have been put on the wrong way before.
