1. Any Classic Mini, (Favorite Car Of All Time)
2. Any MKII Escort, (Good Choice Mullet),
3. Corvette Stingray, (If I can't have that one Renault 5 Turbo)

Some good choices from other people there as well.

my dad used to drive one of these around grimsby picking up car parts...lol
he also drove a brown porsche 928S and a ferrari 308 GTB for the same guy..... then he got a contract working for Turbo technics building twin turbo conversion kits for Minker and Turbo technics themselves for the Sierra Xr4x4 and the Granada Scorpio 2.9 Cosworth.
they even developed a 4.0 stroker kit for the xr4x4. mmmm 500bhp and 500ftlbs of torque.....

remember pjg1979 you have 4 choices so u can include the r5 turbo :D

ah now is that the R5 turbo (fire breathing group b rear wheel rally monster)
or the R5GTturbo (lame, headgasket blowing front wheel drive cheese eating surrender monkey shopping car):blush:

the second one then. cos your more likely to find a well sorted performance classic car in max power than you are to finding a genuine group B renault 5.

think you will find its x-trac, the manufacturer of the transmision system and the supplier to ford for its 4x4 system in the rs200 group B rally car. and its british.

ok, ok, ill tell you

the RS1700T was designed as a challenger to the mighty lancia 037 group B rally monster.
the rs1700T was a bespoke chassis with a 1.7l 4 cylinder turbo engine mounted behind the driver (mid mounted) and Rear wheel drive.

In 1980, following the launch of the MKIII Escort, Ford plans were started to produce a rear wheel drive Escort to replace the MK II Works rally cars, the RS1700T, with a full programme expected in 1983. As all Ford rally enthusiasts will know, the development was hindered by all kinds of problems, and ultimately the project in the UK was cancelled

it was later used as the basis for the fire breathing, gravel eating, tarmac smoking, audi bashing, horizon headbutting RS200 rally nutcase of a car. Martin Sckanke drove (in its evo2 chassis guise, but with well over 1200BHP) in rally cross trim well into the 1990's and devoured everything in its path.
