factory coil voltage

does anyone know the output voltage from the factory coil? don't even know where to start looking, and i don't exactly wanna hold onto a lead to find out

well, the msd coil im lookiing at does 45000volts, so just deciding if its worth the **** around to fit one...if the stock one is 10000, then yeh,, it is..

yeh i read up a bit on that **** a while back, spark intensity/duration at high rpm, etc etc. on a dyno even on a high performance car (500rwhp), gains between standard coil pack and high performance coils was about 8-10 hp, and 25lbs torque.. could have been a one sided article tho..

im all about buying expensive **** that only gives small gains =)

I was only guessing with the 10,000 too, thats just wat ive seen around, not micra's.

wasn't really chasing extra hp with this, that'd just be an added bonus.. more to the point that stock micra coils are **** and unreliable, having a external coil would cancel that out, bigger spark = smoother engine/more power/ better economy/ better reliablity
