Exhaust options

Hey Guys,

Just picked up a set of extractors and front pipe, need to suss out what to do with the rest of the system.

Any thoughts on where to get a good cheap 2" cat from?

trust me ebay USA is the place for cats and flex pipes. I brought one for 150 from a exhaust shop then saw them on ebay for 35 bucks. But make sure its the USA one

whats the specs of this cat converter.....do you get the 2" both for inlet and outlet

Take ya pick. Was a quick search for high flow cat in the usa site. If yu narrow the search down more you will find more. As you can see there are plenty different ones there ranging from 20 to 200 and up so plenty there. HOpe it helps

its easy to do a search, but how do we know those are made in usa...unless of course if we send an email and ask them.

To be honest i dont see how taht matters. You go to Ebay.com.au and go to the bottom then click the united states part and search. THen you are in the usa ebay and all is good. Regardless of where they are made they are sold through the ebay usa site like i said, So i dont see what you want proof for that they are made in usa.

Hi, some people have just used a standard Holden commodore unit with great success... great flow for a micra, heaps of them around and relatively cheap...

yeah just sorted mine out with a local shop, system is being built up in a few weeks.

I picked up GTRHOLIC's Impul Extractors/Front pipe over the weekend , will cost $350 to install and complete the system with muffler and cat included (plus stainless tip )

Come across it in a few searches, I believe the VN cat is a pretty good fit.

(Never tried it myself though)

cant see why not its bigger then the stock one and has to flow more for the bigger capacity. I would say it would work.

In my micra put line 45mm without catalyst and silencer and final pot OEM exhaust silencer

Have the Commodore unit in my car. Works fine.
