engine temp sensor spec

Any one know what the resistance of the engine temp sensor should be when it is hot or cold ... I have just measured 1.6K ohm on a hot engine .

I am getting some cold running problems , the engine will not pull properly until it has warmed up a bit .

thanks for that , but what is confusing me now is which sensor supplies the ECU .... there appears to be 2 close together on the thermostat housing and some threads say one is for the temp gauge and one for the ecu .

the single wire one feeds the gauge, and the 2 wire one feeds the ecu

thermister checked out ... but the engine now feels differant ???
are the electrical connectors on the micra susceptible to "ageing " and I have moved somat that has fixed itself ?
