Engine for the Micra rally, 1.0 1.3 or 1.4?

Hello there!

So after a couple of days looking on the internet for some information about a Nissan Micra to rebuild into a rally version I can't get this question answered. There are some 1.0 Micra's (like at Peter Lloyd rally school), and the 1.3 is more used? The 1.4 version is rare, so for parts not ideal I guess?

1.3 Pre coilpack I would assume, as you can do the rev limiter delete

Depends what class you want to be in... I race a 1.0L and a mate rallies and 1.4 coilpack in the 1400 championship and is second atm the engines are fairly bulletproof so spares aren't really an issue
