I am a newbie to micra's and just realised in another thread that some K11's came out with electrically operated mirrors.Is this one of the differences between a Mark 1 and 2 or where they an option ?
How hard is it to install electric mirrors form a Mark 2 on one that did not have electric mirrors as standard (mark 1) ? Is it a matter of just getting the wiring from a Mark 2 and plugging it in or will it need special wiring work to be done to make it work ?
Has anyone installed side mirrors from another car that incorporate a blinker into them ? If it was done what mirrors were used ?
Otherwise the only solution i could see is to disassemble the mirror,cut out a section so that the donor car blinker lights can be fitted,fit them ,repaint and then set up the wiring. Does this sound do able to those who understand electrics ?
