hey,
the ecotek power valves seem to get good reviews, with the pipercross filter. does anyone have one, and if so what are they like?
also weher do you fit it to a 1.2 k12?

just out of curiosity what does it claim to do and how does it claim to do it

It apparently causes pulses of air on the air intake that apparently breaks down the fuel into smaller molecules to promote better combusion. I have read the pattent on it, and its a joke. It lightly touches on the fact that it might cause this to happen in one small paragraph in a pile of loads of pages. Ultimately its a well publised con. They also claim slightly better mpg, this is because it would leak in air causing the car to run everso slightly leaner. They also clame it works on turbos, but when under boost its forced shut as it can only open on vacume - another con. etc etc etc..

yeah its a con, i had one in my k12 for a while and didn't make the slightest bit of difference. At least I mannaged to sell it on for £30:laugh:
